What inspires us.
Being in the flow.
What moves us.
Bookwriting in Hamburg
Waiting time is almost over! Yes, there will be a new Reconnective Healing book soon, and Eric and Jillian will be taking us through their creative process right here on Inside Reconnective Life!
You haven't read the first book? Check out our bestseller The Reconnection: Heal Others, Heal Yourself
"You're in a movie... Would you like some popcorn?"
No creative project that we embark on is ever complete without a fair amount of coffee, popcorn, pizza and ice cream. Check out Jillian and Eric making popcorn!

Can You Spot the Transformation?
Besides filming behind the scenes moments and keeping a travelogue for Inside Reconnective Life, we started our own Daily Vlog on October 1 - our daily musings on key aspects of Reconnective Healing and how it impacts our lives every day.
Having said that, we just cannot help ourselves and often end up goofing around... Here's a clip of what happened when we decided to take "instantaneous transformation"...
Spotting "change" can be difficult when it happens so instantaneously!
Episode 1 - "Hexagon B Gone"
After Eric and Jillian stop hexagons from invading the general design for the Reconnective Healing Online Essentials course, Ana makes a surprising discovery in the bathroom.
Being Creative Takes Discipline...
(And a little popcorn too :-)
Even when they're home, Eric and Jillian are constantly working on various projects - the next book, a presentation, notes for a meeting with the teaching team, or writing the new online programs (due to debut later this fall).
To fuel them through their creative moments there's always a veggie and fruit smoothie and popcorn. Lots of popcorn. Popped by Eric himself :-)
"Peacocks, baby! Simutaneously sharing the same encounter on two continents!"
Note to Self:
Many of us expect a moment of realization to be larger than life...
Peacocks sound like large house cats. Who knew?
But often it may look just odd, even nonsensical at first. It comes into perspective when we realize the staggering odds for these (funny!) instances to take place.
We had traveled to separate places, on the same week, to Portugal and the Nevada desert. On the same day, a Saturday, we exchanged pictures of our recent adventures.
We basically exchanged the same pictures.
Peacocks had taken it unto themselves to turn up for us , at the balcony of the Porto Airbnb, and at a desert preserve, and in both instances had become companions - to me, for the remainder of the day, and to Eric and Jillian for the duration of their stay.
We also realized that day we had all made the same discovery as well... What we had thought were the meows of cats turned out to be the calling cries of these beautiful creatures!
Nonsensical and a little absurd, right? And that may be the whole point. It's not about the meaning of seeing peacocks (we could ascribe to them any and all meanings), or interpreting the common experience beyond being just that, a common experience. These moments are gentle nudges that remind us that everything is, potentially, a discovery, a treasure hunt, and we can only truly appreciate them when we leave our expectations and interpretation behind.
It's a Discovery!
Might meow like a peacock...
"I wrote the “The Volunteers” as the preface for my book “Everyday Masters”. I wanted a short story that would set the tone for the rest of my book that describes how my life has changed and evolved since discovering the Reconnective Healing frequencies. And with my daughters input and support I was able to create this video version of “The Volunteers”.

Living in the RH Frequencies
Jillian recently noticed Ashley in an exchange with her plant, and immediately felt she had to record it.
Living in the RH frequencies is easy, as Ashley reminds us in this clip. As Eric often says "the frequencies are constant; it us who are inconstant."

A bike ride took us to a lovely park with a lake - and some very chatty ducks!
Being in nature is a constant for us: it's our way of recharging, reinvigorating, refreshing.
It doesn't matter where we are, or where we go, we always take time to be with nature. Feeling the grass under our feet, touching the bark of trees, just being... Knowing and observing our connection to all living things - this is key to being whole.
Ah! sunflower, weary of time, Who countest the steps of the sun, Seeking after that sweet golden clime Where the traveller’s journey is done;
Where the youth pined away with desire, And the pale virgin shrouded in snow, Arise from their graves and aspire; Where my sunflower wishes to go.
- William Blake, 1757 - 1827
Sunflowers on a Sunday
Jillian and I were quietly reminiscing while we sat on the tarmac in Denver, waiting for our plane to take off, when we found ourselves looking around, noticing the happy, hopeful faces of our fellow passengers...

A Little Street Music!
A walk through Porto looking for groceries brought us to this great street music scene.
We shared in their freedom and inspired playing!
"Healing Made Happy"
A midnight visit to a pharmacy turned into a sequined moment when Elvis pointed the way...
At the time, I just thought this Elvis impersonator was just striking the Elvis pose - it was Cecilia who noticed what he was aiming at...
La Luna (The Moon)
Artemisa took over the skies and our lives last night.
The so-called "Super Moon" last night on December 4th made darkness visible and kept us mortals sleepless in our beds.
Office Holiday Moments
The Year Begins
On a stroll out on Venice Beach, CA we spotted this curious rock on the sand. It didn't take us long to notice the outline of what can only be described as the profile of a swami! We shared the picture with Ana, who chirped in that it also resembled one of the Three Kings - and all this was taking place on the eve of Epiphany- Three Kings Day!
You gotta love how the universe nudges and winks!
Can you see the swami? Take the poll below!
